Job summary

MNGI Digestive Health in Vadnais Heights, MN is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a benefit-eligible, on-site position working 2.5-4 days per week. The CRNA will provide patient care for monitored anesthesia during ASC procedures, collaborating with Anesthesiologists and Proceduralists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
• Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse in Minnesota.
• Certified by the Council on Certification of Nurses Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Preanesthesia assessment and risk stratification using evidence based practice.
• Provide general anesthesia and adjuvant drugs and monitor intraoperative course.
• Manage regional blocks and post-anesthesia recovery with appropriate transfer to recovery nurse.
• Collaborate with Anesthesiologist or Proceduralist to develop plans of care.
