Qualifications

• Graduate of a COA-accredited nurse anesthesia education program.

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities defined by clinical privileges.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data for the patient’s history for the planned procedure.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response for patient safety.
• Complete the surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, and transfer-of-care note.
• Log incident reporting in the computerized Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
