Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in North Carolina for a full-time role. Administer anesthesia and monitor patients under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, with a focus on safety and team collaboration.

Responsibilities include developing individualized anesthesia plans, performing vascular access, and coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia colleagues. Compensation includes base pay within the listed range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NC RN licensure is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia is required.
• CRNA licensure is required per policy.
• BLS and ACLS are required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients undergoing general, regional and local anesthesia.
• Develop an anesthesia plan considering patient history and test results.
• Work with the anesthesiologist as part of the anesthesia care team.
• Perform venous and arterial access procedures as needed.
• Recognize anesthetic complications and adjust the plan accordingly.
• Communicate patient status to the anesthesiologist and surgeon.
• Remain at the head of the bed during transport to recovery and report to the nurse.
• Daily check of the anesthesia machine and related equipment.
