Job summary

ECAA - Anesthesia Specialists is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for positions at ECU Health Chowan in Edenton, NC and ECU Health Bertie in Windsor, NC. This full-time role offers a high starting base of $300,000 with up to a $100,000 signing bonus and a shared call schedule.

The CRNA will provide anesthesia care, conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, and monitor patients through procedures with anesthesiologist support.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and licensure through an accredited nursing anesthesia program.
• Must be certified by the NC state board of nursing.
• Minimum 3+ years experience providing anesthetics in a high acuity setting.
• CRNA must maintain certification and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers general anesthesia and pain medications, adjusting as needed.
• Maintains patient records.
• Performs venous/arterial punctures, may place spinals and A-lines.
• Pre-anesthesia evaluation and post-anesthesia care.
• Monitors and manages airway and ventilation.
• Communicates with patients and families.
• Responds to adverse reactions and complications.
• Monitors fluid, electrolytes, and vital signs during procedures.
