Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.

Responsibilities

• Delineates clinical responsibilities per clinical privileges.
• Collects and evaluates patient medical and surgical history related to planned procedure.
• Maintains safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic responses for patient safety.
• Completes surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, transfer-of-care note, and incident reporting as required.
