Job summary

East Carolina Anesthesia Associates (ECAA) is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for positions at ECU Health Chowan in Edenton and ECU Health Bertie in Windsor, NC. You will evaluate patients, develop anesthesia plans, and provide intraoperative and post-anesthesia care in a CRNA-led practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with NC licensure.
• Minimum 3+ years of high-acuity anesthesia experience.
• Maintain certification and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers general anesthetics and pain medication, adjusting as needed before, during, and after surgery.
• Works closely with surgical specialists and anesthesia team.
• Performs venous/arterial access and may place spinals/A-lines.
• Provides post-anesthesia care and monitors patient recovery.
• Monitors ventilation and patient safety throughout procedures.
