Job summary

Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY, invites certified nurse anesthetists to join a collegial, care-team environment with a busy case mix across multiple sites. The CRNA will provide anesthesia care, perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, and collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Current shifts include 8, 10, and 12 hours, with voluntary call and post-call days off. A generous total rewards package features a $315K salary and a $100K sign-on, plus extensive

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
• Current license as a registered professional nurse.
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiologic status and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
