Job summary

Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY is seeking a CRNA to join a collaborative anesthesia team. Preference for an OB-experienced CRNA to cover a busy obstetric and general surgery schedule, including 24-hour shifts.

The role offers a robust case mix across ORs and centers with strong support from anesthesia techs and pre-op testing. Responsibilities include full anesthesia care, pre-anesthesia evaluations, and developing individualized plans with patients and surgical teams.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and in good standing.
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop anesthetic plans in consultation with patients and surgeons.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor physiologic status and intervene as needed.
• Support department coordination and clinical leadership.
