Job summary

Pipestone County Medical Center & Family Clinic in Pipestone, MN, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to lead anesthesia services in the OR, outpatient surgery, OB and PACU. The CRNA will collaborate with staff and the Surgical Services Nurse Manager, participate in PI activities, and help manage the department’s budget.

Qualifications

Graduate from an approved CRNA program.
Master’s Degree required.
Active CRNA license and Minnesota APRN licensure or multistate licensure.
Certification as CRNA by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or recertification by the Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthesia.
DEA certification as required by Minnesota.
BLS (CPR) certification required.
Certification in CALS with newborn module or ACLS, PALS and NRP required.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care in OR, Outpatient Surgery, OB and PACU.
Lead and manage anesthesia staff; collaborate with Surgical Services Nurse Manager.
Participate in performance improvement activities and budgeting.
Deliver pain management and medication dosing in accordance with guidelines.
Serve as a resource and educator for the department.
