Job summary
UAB Medicine is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests across Birmingham and central Alabama. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students as part of our academic medical center environment.
Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with APN/CRNA certification as required in Alabama.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
- Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
- Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
