Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a qualified CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist across diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a leading academic medical center.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program; APN with CRNA certification; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required by the American Heart Association.
