Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking qualified CRNAs at Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA to join a collegial team. A variety of shift options exist, including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour schedules, with a 0.9 FTE commitment.

You will provide anesthesia care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative areas for diverse surgical specialties, with focus on General, Urology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Endoscopy, OB/GYN, and Podiatry. Hearts and pediatrics are excluded.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • NBCRNA certification.
  • Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of employment.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative areas for a variety of surgical specialties.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Department of Anesthesia at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is currently seeking qualified CRNAs to work in a collegial and family-friendly environment. A variety of shift options are available, including 8s, 10s, 12s, or a combination thereof. Responsible for the provision of anesthesia care in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative areas for a variety of surgical specialties, including: General, Urology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Endoscopy, OB/GYN, Podiatry. No hearts, no pediatrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • NBCRNA certification
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
  • New grads and experienced providers welcome.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.
  • Epidural experience preferred but not required.
