Provident Behavioral Health seeks a CRNA to join our pediatric anesthesia teams, collaborating with surgeons, nurses, and staff to assess and tailor anesthesia plans for young patients.
The role includes pre-anesthetic evaluations, family discussions, education, and perioperative care with a strong emphasis on safety, airway management, and teaching students and residents in a busy pediatric operating suite.
CRNA This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to assess, plan, and administer pediatric anesthesia tailored to patients' physiological needs. Responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthetic evaluations, discussing options with families, and providing age-appropriate education and reassurance.
Key duties encompass developing individualized anesthesia care plans, administering various anesthetic techniques (general, regional, local, sedation), and monitoring patient responses during procedures. The CRNA will manage airway emergencies, provide post-anesthesia care, and respond to code situations.
They will also educate families about anesthesia and recovery, collaborate with other professionals for seamless perioperative care, and participate in teaching students and residents.
Qualifications include a Master's degree (Doctorate preferred), RN licensure, CRNA certification, BLS, PALS, ACLS, and 0-2 years of relevant experience. The position is full-time, onsite, and involves working closely with pediatric surgical teams to ensure safe and effective anesthesia delivery.
