Job Description
South Shore Hospital is a vibrant urban 374-bed community hospital with a level 2 Trauma center designation that is committed to providing world-class quality care throughout the South Shore. This is done alongside our collaborative agreements with Boston's teaching hospitals which include surgeons from Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital, and oncologic services through Dana Farber Cancer Institute. South Shore Health also acts as a training location for the local Nurse Anesthesia programs and is invested in training the future of nurse anesthesia.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) are advanced practice nurses responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients during surgeries and other medical procedures. Due to their specialized skill set, they are experts in critical care and airway management.
