UPMC North Central in Williamsport, PA seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care for a range of cases, including cardiac, plastics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, and pediatrics. The CRNA collaborates with supervising physicians to deliver safe, high-quality care, manages pre- and post-anesthetic processes, and adheres to departmental policies.

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program is required.
Knowledge of Federal and State controlled substance policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides anesthetic care for patients in cooperation with supervising physicians.
Administers anesthesia and related care across pre-anesthetic, induction, maintenance, emergence, post-anesthesia, and peri-anesthesia support.
Reviews informed consent documentation and ensures correct surgical site with OR staff.
Participates in quality improvement processes through case documentation and incident reporting.
Complies with departmental and regulatory standards.
Knowledgeable about controlled substance policies per Federal and State laws.
