Job summary

Tal Healthcare in New York is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to deliver anesthesia care across surgical cases. You will work with anesthesiologists, perform preoperative assessments, insert IVs, manage airways, and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

Strong clinical skills, current NYS RN license and CRNA certification are required, with hospital experience preferred. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with an 18‑month anesthesia course.
• Must be certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and recognized by the State Board.
• Valid NYS nursing license and CRNA certification are required.
• Orientation period with standard departmental policies and anesthesia techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preoperative visits and assess patient suitability for anesthesia.
• Consult with surgeons or anesthesiologists on high‑risk cases.
• Insert IV lines and administer fluids prior to surgery.
• Induce anesthesia and coordinate with supervising anesthesiologists.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures.
• Manage IV fluids, administer medications, and handle transfusions as needed.
• Observe post‑op patients and prepare for transfer to recovery.
• Maintain anesthesia equipment and ensure sterility.
