Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and contribute to a high-quality patient care environment.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is mandatory; Alabama CRNA certification and ACLS/BLS/PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• APN with CRNA specialty and Alabama Board of Nursing certification required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures and tests.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
