Qualifications
Currently certified as a Nurse Anesthetist by the AANA Council on Certification or eligible for certification.
Must possess full range of body motion to perform job effectively.
All RN employees may have a high risk of exposure to blood borne pathogens.
Responsibilities
Administers anesthesia for surgical and other medical procedures.
Ensures patient safety and effective anesthesia management.
Coordinates with anesthesiologist or surgeon during procedures.
Skills
Current Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist
Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS and NALS certification
Good visual acuity
Good hearing
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Education
Current Registered Nurse Licensure
Current Verification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
