Job summary

One GI in Mentor, OH seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care for ambulatory procedures in a fast-paced setting. The CRNA will perform pre-operative assessments, develop anesthetic plans, administer anesthesia, monitor patients, and ensure safety throughout the operative and recovery phases.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license, a Nurse Anesthesia program graduate, CRNA certification, ACLS, and active state credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an approved RN program.
• Graduate from an approved Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current CRNA certification and applicable state RN/APN licensure.
• ACLS certification required and maintained.
• Maintain licenses and credentials in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative anesthesia assessments and plan anesthesia.
• Communicate with physician about anesthesia care and changes in condition.
• Administer anesthesia per protocols and standards of practice.
• Monitor patients with monitoring devices during procedures.
• Manage respiration and cardiac function throughout procedures.
• Perform IV insertion, airway management, intubation, and stabilization as needed.
• Administer medications and document responses accurately.
• Maintain and check anesthesia equipment and supplies.
