Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Qualified Anesthesiologist Assistant to provide anesthesia care in the Operating Room, supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under supervision. This role includes preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative follow-up, acting as a patient advocate and liaison among patients, families, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• Strong communication, monitoring, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical environment and handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Anesthetizes patients, selects drugs, and manages anesthesia induction and maintenance.
• Responds to emergencies, monitors patient status, and adjusts medications accordingly.
• Communicates patient condition with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Assesses patient hemodynamics, interprets waveforms, and ensures patient stability.
• Performs preoperative evaluations, organizes OR equipment, and conducts diagnostic checks.
• Coordinates with staff to ensure a safe surgical environment, including patient positioning and equipment troubleshooting.
• Provides anesthesia support, accurately documents in EMR, and transports patients safely.
• Serves as a mentor and preceptor to peers, staff, residents, students, and nurses.
