Endeavor Health Department of Anesthesiology in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our ACT team. The role involves patient care across all ages, with a focus on regional anesthesia, including spinals and peripheral nerve blocks, under attending supervision.

The CRNA works within a collaborative group, delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia services in a magnet-like hospital system.

Formación

• Active Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse License is required.
• Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia; CRNA qualification or eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS recommended.

Responsabilidades

• Perform clinical anesthesia assignments under supervision of attending physicians.
• Care for patients across pediatrics to geriatrics; monitor and adjust anesthesia.
• Provide regional anesthesia including Spinals and PNBs within ACT.
• Collaborate with the Anesthesia Care Team for safe, high-quality care.

Hourly Pay Range: $122.60 - $162.41 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (average of 40 hours/week)
• Hours: Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; some off-shifts may be required.

CRNAs at Endeavor Health are part of the medical group and function in a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team (ACT). Endeavor Health CRNA’s have an extremely high level of job satisfaction and retention. CRNAs carry out clinical assignments under the direction of the chief of the Department of Anesthesiology, and under the specific direction/supervision of the designated attending anesthesiologist. The extent of the service provided by the CRNA is at the discretion of the attending anesthesiologist. Patient care includes patients of all ages: pediatrics through geriatrics. Delivery of care requires appropriate knowledge and skills to assess each age group, interpret age specific dataalong with skills to appropriately treat(i.e. medications, set-ups, equipment, etc.) every age-specific patient.

The scope of practice of the CRNA’s at Endeavor Health is unlimited. Patient care focuses on a wide-ages, pediatrics through geriatrics. Case variety is diverse including Neuro, Gen Surg, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Optho, IR, Cath Lab, GI and MRI. CRNA’s perform regional anesthesia including Spinals and PNB’s.

Qualifications

• License: Advanced Practicing Nurse License in the state of Illinois.
• Education: Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia
• Certified or Board eligible for certification as CRNA
• Maintains re-certification every two years
• Certification: BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS certification recommended.
• Experience: New graduate and experienced candidates welcomed to apply!
