Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for Elmhurst Hospital, IL. You will join a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team and provide patient care across ages under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.

Qualifications

• CRNAs must hold an Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse License.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Certified or board-eligible for CRNA.
• RECERTIFICATION every two years is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS recommended.

Responsibilities

• CRNAs work under the direction of the chief of Anesthesiology and supervising attending anesthesiologist.
• Provide care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Perform regional anesthesia including Spinals and PNBs.

Hourly Pay Range: $122.60 - $162.41 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Department of Anesthesiology

Location: Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL

Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (average of 40 hours/week)

Hours: Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; some off-shifts may be required.

CRNAs at Endeavor Health are part of the medical group and function in a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team (ACT). CRNAs carry out clinical assignments under the direction of the chief of the Department of Anesthesiology, and under the specific direction/supervision of the designated attending anesthesiologist. The extent of the service provided by the CRNA is at the discretion of the attending anesthesiologist. Patient care includes patients of all ages: pediatrics through geriatrics. Delivery of care requires appropriate knowledge and skills to assess each age group, interpret age specific data along with skills to appropriately treat (i.e. medications, set‑ups, equipment, etc.) every age‑specific patient.

The scope of practice of the CRNA's at Endeavor Health is unlimited. Patient care focuses on a wide‑ages, pediatrics through geriatrics. Case variety is diverse including Neuro, Gen Surg, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Optho, IR, Cath Lab, GI and MRI. CRNA's perform regional anesthesia including Spinals and PNB's.

Qualifications

• License: Advanced Practicing Nurse License in the state of Illinois.
• Education: Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia
• Certified or Board eligible for certification as CRNA
• Maintains re-certification every two years
• Certification: BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS certification recommended.
