Job summary

UCHealth Anesthesiology in Colorado Springs seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a full-time role. Join a collaborative team in a Level 1 & 3 trauma facility with a wide case mix, including ortho, neuro, spine, GI, GU, plastics, vascular, general surgery, gynecology, and OB.

Epic EMR is used system-wide. Requirements include an MS in Nurse Anesthesia, NBCRNA CRNA certification, RN licensure, and an unrestricted DEA permit.

Qualifications

• Master of Science and graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program.
• CRNA certification NBCRNA and RN licensure.
• Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in practice.
• Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certified by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for diverse case mix in Level 1 & 3 trauma facility and ambulatory surgical centers.
• Collaborate with anesthesia team and medical direction for patient care.
• Maintain provider status with Medicare/Medicaid and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
