Job summary

Leading Locum is seeking a CRNA for assignment at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Oxford in Oxford, MS. The role centers on supervision-based practice with general anesthesia coverage and a Monday–Friday schedule. Assignment options include short-term or long-term with an eight-hour guarantee and $150 per hour compensation.

The CRNA will perform pre-anesthetic assessments, MAC/conscious sedation, airway management, and post-anesthesia care, while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school and nurse anesthesia program accredited by AANA.
• Certification by AANA Council on Certification or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic assessment and obtain informed consent.
• Provide MAC/conscious sedation for outpatient and inpatient cases.
• Manage airway, emergence, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Discharge patients from PACU and monitor for anesthesia-related issues.
• Respond to emergencies with airway management and ACLS techniques.
• Perform additional nurse anesthesia duties within scope of practice.
