Baptist is seeking a Nurse Anesthesia Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide clinical services under the supervision of an MD at BMH Oktibbeha County Hospital, Anesthesiology Department in Starkville, Mississippi.

The CRNA will administer anesthesia for surgical procedures, obstetrics, and other therapeutic cases, assess patients, plan and implement care, and contribute to education and health care delivery improvements. Licensure and PALS completion within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• AANA certification required.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.
• State licensure/registration as required by Mississippi law.

Responsabilités

• Assess the patient prior to anesthesia.
• Develop a plan of care for anesthesia.
• Implement the anesthesia plan during procedures.
• Evaluate the plan postoperatively to ensure safety.
• Administer medications as prescribed for anesthesia.
• Provide patient and family education related to anesthesia.
• Participate in activities to improve health care delivery.
• Engage in ongoing professional education and quality initiatives.
