Job summary

Southcoast Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for full-time day, weekend, and on-call coverage across locations including New Bedford, Fall River, Wareham and Dartmouth. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Current MA CRNA license or eligible to practice in MA.
• APRN recognition or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Two years of anesthesia care is required.
• Must have MA RN license and CRNA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble necessary supplies and equipment, and administer intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics prior to surgical or other procedures.
• Monitor patient reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia and take remedial action when warranted.
• Submit postoperative reports on patient condition and maintain records of anesthetics administered.
