Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks CRNAs to join a multidisciplinary anesthesia team across Houston locations. The role involves planning anesthesia, administering anesthesia, and coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care for pediatric to adult patients.

Ideal candidates have accredited CRNA training, active RN and APRN credentials, and current ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications with inpatient anesthesia experience. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Valid state RN license.
• Valid state APRN recognition.
• CRNA certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
• ACLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification.
• Current BLS.
• 2+ years of inpatient anesthesia experience.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine an accurate anesthetic plan.
• Work under the direction of physician anesthesiologist.
• Determine and administer the appropriate dosage of anesthesia during procedures.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, technicians, and other health care professionals.
• Complete records of anesthesia type, patient condition, and medical histories.
• Assess patient recovery and transfer to another room after surgery.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to provide optimum patient care.
