Compensation: Pay Range: $153,725 - $249,800 / year. Job Description: To serve in a lead capacity to coordinate the provision of anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic surgical procedures and cardiac catheterizations. To participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students. To act as a clinical resource.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Currently certified with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
