  • Obtain informed consents for anesthesia.
  • Administer anesthetic drugs and manage controlled substances.
  • Select/insertion of monitoring modalities (invasive/noninvasive).
  • Perform point-of-care testing.
  • Plan and initiate anesthesia techniques (general/ regional/local/sedation) and respond to emergencies.
  • Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
  • Maintain detailed anesthetic records in EMR and other docs.
  • Provide back-up call services as needed.
  • Supervise student nurse anesthetists.

Education
