Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia services under medical supervision for diverse cases. You will manage airway, monitoring, medications, and ventilator support across age groups, while supervising student nurses and maintaining compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate will have California CRNA certification, RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and broad experience with perioperative care in varied settings.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
Active California CRNA license with RN licensure, ACLS and BLS.
National certification as a CRNA required.
Experience with extensive monitoring and procedures across ages.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients pre-operatively and review medical information.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists to select anesthesia plans.
Monitor intraoperatively, respond to emergencies, and assess post-operative status.
Prepare and administer anesthesia, ensure equipment safety, and manage meds.
Maintain accurate controlled substance records and ensure equipment readiness.
Supervise student nurse anesthetists and collaborate with staff and patients.
Perform duties within licensure scope and in accordance with policies and laws.
