Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide comprehensive anesthesia services across the perioperative continuum. You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to implement individualized anesthesia plans and ensure patient safety.

The role requires an APRN license, NBCRNA certification, and a Master’s in Nursing, with ACLS/PALS/NRP per site policy. A strong team orientation and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high level of clinical proficiency and decision‑making.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a health‑care team.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia services including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Manages anesthesia plan with surgeons and team per clinical indications.
• Performs preoperative evaluation and reviews studies.
• Ensures readiness of equipment, supplies, and medications for anesthesia.
• Delivers anesthesia including induction, maintenance, and emergence.
• Administers anesthetics and adjuvants and monitors response.
