SCI Anesthesia Services is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist Assistant at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. The role includes administering anesthesia under supervision, monitoring patients' vital signs, and performing essential pre- and post-anesthesia functions. Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Anesthesia and be willing to obtain required certifications within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Anesthesiologist Assistant license issued by the state of Wisconsin is required.
• Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA-C) certification must be obtained within 18 months.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Administers intravenous and other anesthetics prior to procedures.
• Monitors patient reactions and vital signs during anesthesia.
• Performs pre-anesthesia functions under anesthesiologist direction.
• Provides work direction to anesthesiologist assistant students.
