Job summary

Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA/AA) to join our Anesthesiology Team.

This full-time role offers days Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends, with multiple shift opportunities at our Milwaukee facilities. You will provide anesthesia services under an anesthesiologist, perform pre- and post-anesthesia duties, and help maintain records.

Qualifications

• Prepares and administers anesthesia under physician direction.
• Monitors patient vitals and adjusts anesthesia as needed.
• Ensures safety and documentation during induction, maintenance and emergence.

Responsibilities

• Assemble supplies and administer intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics.
• Provide anesthesia services including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Perform pre-anesthetic exams and ensure tests and assessments are complete.
• Manage post-anesthesia care and communicate post-op instructions with the team.
• Maintain narcotic accounting and assist in emergencies when needed.
