Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing with post-master's anesthesia certification.
• RN license (Washington) required at hire or Compact License.
• Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license (Washington) required at hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support required at hire.
• CRNA national certification within 3 months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans anesthetic management in collaboration with attending anesthesiologist.
• Assures availability and proper functioning of equipment, supplies and medications.
• Conducts pre-anesthesia evaluation and reassesses patient readiness before induction.
• Records anesthetic events accurately on the anesthesia record.
• Communicates perianesthetic course and changes in patient condition to post-anesthesia care team.
