Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Tacoma, WA is seeking a CRNA to administer general and regional anesthesia for surgical patients in a day surgery setting. The role supports life functions during anesthesia and involves airway management, invasive monitoring, and immediate corrective actions as needed.

Hours are 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. This full-time onsite position is based at the Tacoma Specialty Center with a 40-hour workweek and a comprehensive pay range.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing with post-masters anesthesia certification.
• Current WA RN license and ARNP license.
• CRNA National Certification within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS and BLS required at hire.
• PALS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans anesthetic management in collaboration with attending anesthesiologist and ensures equipment and meds are ready.
• Performs pre-anesthesia evaluation and monitors patient condition during induction and perianesthetic period.
• Documents anesthetic events accurately and promptly in patient records.
• Communicates with post-anesthesia care team and attending anesthesiologist regarding patient condition changes.
• Participates in department education and interdepartmental activities, sharing professional skills.
