Virginia Mason Franciscan Health’s St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma seeks a CRNA to provide safe general and regional anesthesia in an Anesthesia Care Team model.
The role supports a diverse caseload at a Level II Trauma center, with shifts 7am-5pm or 7am-7pm in downtown Tacoma. Responsibilities include meeting surgical standards, managing anesthesia supplies, and collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and OR staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
As our CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist), you will provide a safe anesthetic experience for patients at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma. This is an opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Advanced Practice Provider team in the Department of Anesthesiology at our tertiary care, Level II Trauma center. This position will provide care in our downtown Tacoma location, St. Joseph Medical Center, and our outpatient surgery center which is onsite. This is a 100% Medical Direction model.
Every day, you will be responsible for meeting established surgical standards and managing anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. You will also promote teamwork with Operating Room personnel, physicians, and other departments.
To be successful in your role, you will provide safe general and regional anesthetic experiences for assigned patients in an Anesthesia Care Team model. You will demonstrate exceptional expertise in anesthesia administration and management, ensure rigorous adherence to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices, and proactively foster teamwork within the Operating Room and across departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient surgical operations.
