Memorial Hospital - Chattanooga is seeking a CRNA to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia experiences for assigned patients under the supervision of the attending surgeon. You will help maintain surgical standards and manage anesthesia supplies in the Operating Room, collaborating with OR staff, physicians, and other departments.

The position offers exposure to a wide variety of cases (no OB or pediatrics) and involves rotating through Memorial locations in Chattanooga, Hixson, and Ringgold/N.

Competenze

• GA licensure and TN licensure & DEA required to practice.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Completion of nurse anesthesia program accredited by AANA or its successor; biannual re-certification criteria apply.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist), you will provide a safe anesthetic experience for assigned patients under the guidance of the attending surgeon.

Every day, you will be responsible for meeting established surgical standards and managing anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. You will also promote teamwork with Operating Room personnel, physicians, and other departments. You will also have the opportunity for a wide variety of cases (no OB or peds), and will be part of a team that covers CommonSpirit Memorial in Chattanooga, TN (primary location), and rotates through CommonSpirit Memorial - Hixson, TN, and CommonSpirit Memorial - Ringgold/N. GA locations.

To be successful in your role, you will meticulously provide safe general and regional anesthetic experiences for assigned patients, working under the guidance of the attending surgeon. You will demonstrate exceptional expertise in anesthesia administration and management, ensure rigorous adherence to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices, and proactively foster teamwork within the Operating Room and across departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient surgical operations.New grads are encouraged to apply!

Job Requirements

Required

• Ability to obtain GA and TN licensure & DEA
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Completion of nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. Compliance with criteria for biannual re-certification, as defined by the AANA Council on Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
