Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a CRNA for Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. The role covers orthopedic, general, GI, cardiac, and other procedures within a collaborative care team.

Salary is up to $285,000 per year based on schedule and experience with a $75,000 sign-on. A comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life, disability, and AD&D insurance, generous PTO, FSAs/HSA, fully paid malpractice, and loan repayment/training assistance.

Qualifications

• RN license (current)
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient status and intervene as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Founded in 1971, Parkridge Medical Center offers compassionate care and advanced technology in a comfortable and convenient setting. The 275-bed hospital near downtown Chattanooga features comprehensive diagnostic and medical/surgical services, including cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. As part of the Parkridge Health System, patients also have access to OB-GYN services, a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults. 30 anesthesiologists and 100 CRNAs work together in a care team model. This care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Case Assignments

• Orthopedic, general, GI, cardiac, pulmonary cases, endovascular, electrophysiology, neurosurgery, GYN and a small amount of pediatric anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
