MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a growing team of CRNAs and Anesthesiologists at Waldo Hospital in Belfast and Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, ME. The position offers excellent work-life balance with no evening, weekend, call, or holiday requirements.

New graduates are welcome. A signing bonus and relocation assistance are available. The compensation ranges from $262,946 to $281,728 annually, with comprehensive benefits and CME reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years CRNA experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• BSN or higher; graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by a recognized council.
• Current Maine APRN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS; NBCRNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for Surgical Services in Belfast and Rockport.
• Collaborate with CRNAs and Anesthesiologists in perioperative care.

Coastal Maine CRNA

This position will work both at Waldo Hospital in Belfast, Maine and at Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, Maine.

Description

MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a growing team of collaborative CRNA's and Anesthesiologists. This position offers great work-life balance, with no evening, weekend, call or holiday requirements,along with the opportunity to work with team-oriented perioperativesupport staff and surgeons. We utilize 8 and 10 hour shifts with flexible salaried scheduling. Reimbursement is provided for CME credits, Maine state licensure, National Certification renewal and CPC exam, and AANA dues. A signing bonus and relocation is available for qualifying candidates, and Pen Bay has an on-site childcare facility, subject to availability. New graduates are welcome to apply.

The pay range for this position is $262,946 to $281,728 annually based on the candidate’s level of experience.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• While a minimum of 2-3 years of CRNA experience is preferred,we welcome applications from new graduates.
• Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year school or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program or its predecessor. Demonstrates current competency in the clinical responsibilities for which the candidate applies.
• License/Certifications: Current State of Maine Professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license. Current PALS, BLS and ACLS certification. Current certification by the National Board of Certification & Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Membership in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists is recommended.
