Job summary

Mount Joseph at Waterville is hiring a Medication Aide to administer medications and treatments in compliance with Maine regulations and facility policies. You will support residents with dignity, following care plans and reporting to the Residential Care Coordinator.

Requirements include being at least 18, holding CRMA and PSS certifications, and a willingness to complete required orientation and competency evaluations. CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Current Maine CRMA and PSS certifications.
• First aid & CPR certification preferred.
• Demonstrate genuine interest in working with people with mental illness.
• Must complete a criminal history record check.
• Must follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with and report to the Residential Care Coordinator.
• Work with Direct Care Team and other staff; maintain a positive work environment.
• Use safe procedures when administering medications and treatments.
• Complete orientation, trainings, and competency evaluations.
• Respond immediately to resident call bells and participate in shift reporting.
