Location: Durham, NC (remote)

Anticipated contract dates: mid-May - June 30, 2025

Discover Durham is Durham’s marketing and sales agency, generating economic impact by drawing millions of leisure, business, and sports visitors to our vibrant community.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CRM Database Auditor to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our partner account information in Simpleview, the organization’s CRM platform.

The contractor will focus on auditing and updating the database to ensure data integrity of contacts and organization communication and tracking. This involves researching and contacting hospitality entities to review and update business and contact information and amenities.

This role requires strong attention to detail, self-direction, critical thinking, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills. It is a remote position for 10-20 hours per week, from mid-May to June 30, 2025, with potential for extension.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Work with the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing to prioritize audit efforts.
  2. Conduct audits of partner account information in the CRM database.
  3. Proactively contact hospitality businesses to gather updated information and ensure accuracy.
  4. Verify and update contact details and business descriptions.
  5. Collect supporting documents such as venue floorplans and imagery.
  6. Determine when in-person site visits are necessary.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies.
  8. Maintain organized records of activities, updates, and corrections.
  9. Update VIP contacts associated with partner accounts.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  1. Experience in database management, preferably CRM.
  2. Understanding of database architecture.
  3. Attention to detail and data accuracy.
  4. Strong organization and time management skills.
  5. Self-motivated and independent work ability.
  6. Good communication skills for external outreach.
  7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Dropbox, and cloud technologies.
  8. Flexible schedule for contacting businesses outside of standard hours.
  9. Own computer and internet access required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry.
  2. Experience with CRM systems, especially Simpleview or iDSS.
Pay:

$22 - $25/hour, depending on experience.
