CRM Clinical Specialist - Northwest Indiana (Finance)

Provide technical, educational, operational, and sales support to meet Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) sales and customer service objectives. CRM seeks collaborative candidates who will meet customer expectations by striving for reliability and quality in products, processes, and systems by being accountable, having a voice, and taking action.

Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory daily to address unscheduled needs. They are expected to work weekends and holidays as determined by local management. Weeknight call coverage is primarily handled by Sales Reps, but Clinical Specialists may be scheduled for weeknight coverage as needed and approved by regional management.

Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support
    • Complete CRM Field Technical Training, including online and field-based modules.
    • Perform checks/interrogations of CRM medical device systems post sign-off.
    • Support implants of CRM products post sign-off.
    • Provide on-call support during evenings and weekends post sign-off.
    • Assist with troubleshooting as needed.
  2. Operational Support
    • Ensure completion of patient registration and hospital documentation.
    • Manage consignment and trunk inventory.
    • Provide additional inventory support as needed.
    • Maintain software on programmers district-wide.
    • Assist with daily coverage logistics.
  3. Educational Support
    • Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on products and solutions.
    • Support training of new Clinical Specialists and Sales Reps.
  4. Sales Support
    • Partner with DSM, Sales Reps, and DM to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
    • Assist in obtaining customer POs.
    • Understand the competitive landscape.
    • Identify customer needs and provide feedback to support sales.
  5. Ongoing Technical Development
    • Stay updated on new products and patient management offerings.
    • Complete all training timely.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma + 6 years healthcare, field sales, or related experience, or
  • Associate's Degree + 4 years experience, or
  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years experience in related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Strong work ethic and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools and Salesforce.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel approximately 80% of the time.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • Frequent travel to customer sites.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., sit, stand, walk for extended periods, and use hands for handling objects.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance.
  • Travel requirement of at least 10%.

Medtronic offers competitive salary, benefits, and incentives, with salary ranges from $72,000 to $90,000 for U.S. locations, excluding Puerto Rico. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.
