Job summary

SpaceX in Long Beach, CA seeks a Critical Lift & Transport Technician (Falcon 9) to operate crawler and hydraulic cranes, rig loads precisely, and support crane inspections and maintenance. The role requires NCCCO certification and 5+ years of crane/rigging experience, with willingness to travel between Long Beach and Vandenberg Space Force Base.

You will work day shifts with possible overtime, contributing to safe, efficient lift operations in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency.
NCCCO certification (LBC-TLL).
5+ years of experience operating crawler cranes and hydraulic cranes.
Experience with a variety of rigging equipment and signaling.

Responsibilities

Operate crawler cranes and other crane types (e.g., Tadano ATF 100G-4/130G-5, MLC300, LR11000, LR1300, LTR1100).
Precisely place non-replaceable loads in designated areas using crane and multi-point rigging.
Support inspection and maintenance of hydraulic and crawler cranes.
Tilt, dip and turn suspended loads to maneuver around obstacles with multi-point rigging.
Perform various rigging challenges.
Assist with rigging and driving forklifts as part of crane-cab duties.
