The National Security Sector provides technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities for defense and intelligence customers in areas such as cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics.

The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a motivated and tactical Critical Incident Coordinator (Senior) to support the Leidos Homeland and Force Protection Business Area division within the FBI portfolio. The candidate will support our Agile DevSecOps contract and be responsible for understanding customer needs to create applications. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision, be a strong team player, and establish solid working relationships with technical staff, peers, and external government customers. Experience in communications, Agile, DevSecOps, hardware/software fabrication, cloud and platform system integration, and test and evaluation is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the relationship with the end user through to final resolution, including providing periodic status updates.
  2. Ensure critical incident notifications are issued and actively monitor the status of critical incidents.
  3. Coordinate after-action meetings to assess incident responses and establish or lead command posts when necessary.

Clearance Required:

  • Current TS/SCI clearance.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Business, Systems, Social Science, Psychology, or a technical discipline, or equivalent specialized experience.
  • Familiarity with software used to track issues and customer interactions.
  • Experience in communicating across business areas during incident coordination.
  • Ability to triage incidents, determine severity, decide on the best course of action, and delegate tasks effectively.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI.
