Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician in Frederick, MD to maintain and troubleshoot 24x7 critical infrastructure. The role covers HVAC, electrical systems, building management, and life safety controls, with a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance.

Under the Facility Manager, you will supervise internal and third-party contractors, manage work orders, and ensure safe, compliant operations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years in electrical/mechanical critical facilities support, or 7+ years HVAC/mechanical/electrical experience.
• Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.
• Overtime and longer shifts (12 hour) may be required, including day/night/weekend/holiday.
• Computer skills, including MS Office, are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs critical and non-critical equipment in a 24x7 facility.
• Oversees electrical operations, energy management, and system changes.
• Responds to emergencies and documents work orders in the CMMS.
• Coordinates with Facility Manager and contractors for maintenance work.
