Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks an experienced Operations Manager for Critical Environments in Atlanta. You will lead data center operations, ensuring reliability, cost control, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with vendors and senior stakeholders.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement across facilities and IT infrastructure to support mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience in Data Centers/IT Communication rooms.
  • Experience with systems, emergency generators, switchgears, ups, hvac, fls.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and effective speaking to leadership groups.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing strategic initiatives and operational plans across Critical Environment operations.
  • Provide leadership to vendors and operational staff; monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Travel throughout the United States as required.

You'll leverage your deep understanding of Critical Environment operations and critical infrastructure, along with strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities to work with a team of professionals and drive operational excellence. Success in this role requires being an open, transparent, and consistent communicator to all stakeholders, as you'll have the opportunity to shape a portion of the digital economy and influence the careers of teams supporting operations.**Your day-to-day tasks will include:*** Developing and implementing strategic initiatives and operational plans to drive efficiency, scalability, and resilience across Critical Environment operations* Providing leadership and direction to critical vendors and operational staff* Monitoring and evaluating data center/IT Communication Rooms performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and key performance indicators* Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize risks* Overseeing financial aspects including budget planning, forecasting, and cost control* Acting as primary point of contact for senior management, clients, partners, and vendors* Managing relationships with strategic vendors and contractors to ensure service level agreements are met* Evaluating and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, security, and sustainability* Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies* Travel as required**Required Qualifications:*** 5+ years of work experience in Data Centers/IT Communication rooms* Experience with systems, emergency generators, switchgears, ups, hvac, fls* Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and maintenance instructions* Excellent communication skills, including report writing and effective speaking to leadership groups* Proficiency with technical drawings, specifications, and measuring instruments* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)* Demonstrated leadership ability, presentation capabilities, and organizational skills* Experience utilizing CMMS platforms* Ability to travel throughout the United States**Preferred Qualifications:*** Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction* Experience with Critical Environment Dashboard products* Experience with Corrigo, MCIM/Salesforce, Zendesk, and ServiceNowThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
