Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; electrical training preferred.
• 8+ years in electrical roles in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with data centers, hospitals, or similar facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, troubleshooting, and PM tasks.
• Certifications such as OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Inspect grounding, labeling, and system integrity per procedures.
• Diagnose faults and replace components to restore function.
• Support upgrades, panel mods, cable routing, and commissioning.
• Monitor systems for alarms and respond to ensure uptime.
• Adhere to safety standards and participate in hazard assessments.
• Collaborate with facility teams to ensure reliability.

Our client, a global leader in mission-critical infrastructure support, is seeking a Critical Facilities Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Critical Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical electrical infrastructure in a high-availability environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive commitment to safety and operational excellence.

12-Hrs (5:30-5:30), Sun-Wed & Sun-Tues

B:

12-Hrs (5:30-5:30), Thurs-Sat & Wed - Sat

Job Functions:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in mission-critical environments while following established procedures and safety protocols.
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure proper grounding, labeling, and overall system integrity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, replacing or repairing components as needed to restore functionality.
• Support system upgrades and infrastructure refresh projects, including panel modifications, cable routing, and equipment commissioning.
• Monitor electrical systems for anomalies, alarms, or failures and respond promptly to maintain operational continuity.
• Follow safety standards, participate in hazard assessments, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
• Collaborate with facility operations teams to support the reliability of critical infrastructure systems.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; vocational training or apprenticeship in electrical systems preferred.
• 8+ years of experience as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, or Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience supporting mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, utilities, or refineries.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance practices.
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E certifications preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
