Job summary

Integral Federal is seeking a ColdFusion Developer to sustain and enhance a mission-critical DISA human capital management application. The role involves maintaining a mature ColdFusion/CFML codebase, optimizing SQL Server queries, and implementing approved requirements while collaborating with analysts, admins, testers, and government stakeholders.

The candidate should thrive in a complex legacy environment, demonstrate strong debugging skills, and follow disciplined software-development

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with active Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years Adobe ColdFusion/CFML development experience.
• Experience with legacy applications and SQL Server troubleshooting.
• Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web app development skills.
• Experience with Git-based code review and DevSecOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using ColdFusion and CFML.
• Analyze modules, business rules, interfaces, and database dependencies.
• Implement enhancements, defect fixes, and regulatory updates.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
• Translate RFCs/user stories into secure, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with analysts, admins, testers, and stakeholders.
• Perform developer testing and defect resolution.
• Use Git-based source control and participate in merges.
• Support Fortify and secure coding practices; remediation as needed.
• Assist with weekly expedited releases and monthly production releases.
• Document code, decisions, deployment considerations, and procedures.
