Pay ranges from $22 to $29 per hour, depending on experience, with shift differential pay for eligible night and weekend hours. The position supports professional growth through a structured CareerTrax leveling system and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of veterinary medicine experience required.
• Provide nursing care to patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.
• Understand classification of commonly used medications and monitor therapeutic response.
• Possess working knowledge of anesthesia/monitoring equipment and assist with ASA I or II patients.
• Report patient signalment, problem list and plan during nursing rounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.

• Administer medications via appropriate routes and duration.
• Perform physical exams and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with anesthesia/monitoring for ASA I or II patients.
• Remain current on CPR guidelines and demonstrate proficiency as assigned.
