Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience: OR trained (required).
• Licenses: RN license in VA; CPR/BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs in Critical Care/Telemetry units.
• Partners with patients and families to develop, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Educates patients and families, documents education and discharge instructions.
• Delegates and prioritizes tasks to ensure quality patient care; respond to emergencies.
• Completes clinical and quality documentation per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supports patient throughput while ensuring ethical, evidence-based care.
